Kimberly Minero

Kim received her Bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from Hofstra University and her Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Long Island University.
Kim specializes in evaluating and treating the young child with developmental delays, including autism spectrum disorder. Kim was the lead speech-language pathologist in the ABA Early Intervention program in New York City. She designed and coordinated Early Intervention treatment programs, including EI staff and parent/caregiver training.
Kim developed and manages the Suburban Speech Center Comprehensive ABA Treatment (CABAT) program in coordination with BehaviorWise. Additionally, Kim specializes in treating childhood apraxia of speech, receptive-expressive language disorders, and language-listening challenges.
She is trained in Verbal Behavior Analysis (VBA), Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol (K-SLP), Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT), and More Than Words (“Hanen approach”).
Kim joined Suburban Speech Center in 2006.
